Central Louisiana Chapter

The Central Louisiana Chapter (Alexandria) participated in the Department of Defense America Supports You text messaging program, Giving Thanks, which allowed people to text a message of thanks to the men and women who serve this nation. The chapter reports that Giving Thanks was well received by the public and the media, and that emergency services were provided to 59 military men and women during the six days the Giving Thanks program was taking place.
