Hawkeye Chapter Volunteer Donates World War II Memoirs

The Hawkeye Chapter (Waterloo, Iowa) is very proud to announce the donation of several hundred copies of “Letters Home, The American Red Cross & the 8th Air Force,” a beautiful hardcover book written by the chapter’s own Nancy Foster. Nancy’s memoir is a compendium of letters written home while she volunteered to serve American and Allied service personnel overseas in World War II. Nancy has been a valuable resource to the Hawkeye Chapter for many years and continues to give of herself.
