San Antonio Chapter Raises Funds to Support the Military

March 3, 2008 · No Comments

Raising $50,000 in only 13 hours for Service to the Armed Forces was no easy feat. But that is exactly what the San Antonio (Tex.) Area Chapter did during its 3rd annual Radiothon. From 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., eight San Antonio stations owned by BMP Radio promoted the Red Cross and encouraged listeners to support the military in the San Antonio area. Local corporate sponsors including Wells Fargo Worldwide Military Banking, Papa John’s, Culver’s Frozen Custard and ButterBurgers and It’s a Grind Coffee House pitched in to support our efforts and made this year’s Radiothon a big success.
