Central Maryland Chapter (Baltimore) volunteers and employees donated more than 80 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to the Cookies for the Soldiers project sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. One soldier, William Blow from Baltimore County, wrote a thank you note to the Brownie Troop that shipped the cookies. “My unit and I would like to thank you for your support and the cookies,” he wrote. “We are very grateful for everything you young ladies do for the troops overseas.” Including the Red Cross donation, this group of girls sent 500 boxes of cookies to soldiers.
