Berkshire County Group Supports Military Families

The Military Family Support Group of the Berkshire County Chapter (Pittsfield, Mass.) organized a M*A*S*H Bash fundraiser for the SAF Department and sponsored a Coming Home Tree at the Berkshire Museum’s Festival of Trees. The annual Operation Troop Support Drive had another successful year with holiday cheer packages being mailed to local troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. Members of the support group sorted, packaged and labeled all the donations and, with the help of the Navy League of Berkshire County and workers from General Dynamics, delivered the over 2,000 pounds to the post office in time for the Holidays.
