Fire Departments Raise Funds for the Red Cross

The Coosa Valley Chapter (Rome, Ga.) kicked off its annual Heroes for the American Red Cross campaign in Bartow County. Bartow County Fire Department and Cartersville Fire Department held a very successful boot/bucket drive. Collectively, the departments raised $20,349.92 for Red Cross programs and services. Other activities such as the Kiss the Camel event – that’s right – a camel – have raised much awareness of the important work that Red Cross does in the community.
