Chattanooga Volunteers Support Regional Expos

The Greater Chattanooga (Tenn.) Area Chapter of the American Red Cross recently participated in two regional Expos. Health and Safety employees and volunteers staffed a booth at the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Small Business EXPO in February, providing information on workplace safety training. Just two weeks later, the Home Builders Association of Southeast Tennessee held its 42nd annual Home Show with proceeds benefiting the chapter. Red Cross volunteers sold tickets, took tickets at the Home Show, provided preparedness information and sold first aid items and emergency weather radios to the more than 40,000 people who attended the three-day event.
