Charter Oak Chapter Receives Praise for Apartment Fire Response

The Charter Oak Chapter of Connecticut (Farmington) received excellent coverage in the New London Day for the chapter’s response to a six-alarm apartment fire. Volunteers and staff established an emergency shelter at 3:30 a.m. that helped apartment dwellers, sometimes entire families, cope with the disaster.
