Hospital Grant Leads to Partnership

The Northeast Kentucky Chapter (Greenup, Ky.) was awarded a $5,000 grant for local disasters from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. The money will be used toward local disaster services in Greenup and Lewis Counties. This is the first time the hospital has give to the American Red Cross and is the start of a good partnership. The hospital has also requested Red Cross disaster courses in order to be able to work more closely with the Red Cross in the event of a disaster.
